The New Holland Braud 9090X Olive Series is designed for easy setup to work in different super-intensive orchards in the minimum amount of time for maximum efficiency. Built around proven Braud-designed DNA, the New Holland Braud 9090X features the flexible SDC shaking system with flexible rear rod fixation that softly shakes and detaches the olives, and the NORIA basket system that offers the best treatment for olive trees and harvested crop. A dedicated conveyor system and a high-performance cleaning fan designed for olives, resulting in improved cleaning and performance.

PICKING HEAD

• For over 35 years, our team of specialists at the Coëx factory in France have designed, fine-tuned and produced over 14,000 grape and olive harvesters, establishing the benchmark in production quality, harvesting quality and response to the needs of growers throughout the world.

SDC SHAKING SYSTEM

• The Braud SDC is recognized as the best picking system, period. Each shaking rod is independent and attached at the rear to a maintenance-free, flexible fixation. This system allows for perfect control of the shaker action, with maximum flexibility, for gentle picking. The shaking system accommodates a maximum of 42 shakers and an overall shaking height of 78.7 inches (2000 mm).

NORIA COLLECTION - NOW EVEN BETTER

• At New Holland, respect for the olives is a design priority. The proven NORIA system, with its polyurethane baskets, ensures careful treatment of the olive trees and harvesting without ground losses. The end result is high-quality olives with a “hand-picked” appearance.

HIGH-CAPACITY CONVEYORS

• The high-capacity conveyor and top cleaning fan system are specifically designed for cleaning olives. As a result, the cleaning fan removes impurities more effectively. With Braud 9090X Olive harvesters, you get better productivity and a cleaner product sample.

LOWER HOPPERS, RAISED DISCHARGE

• The redesigned hoppers offer a lower center of gravity, for improved stability and traction. The tilting height of the hoppers is now 10.5 ft. (3.2 m). The hoppers can simultaneously unload for reduced downtime.

HARVEST NON-STOP

• For unloading on the go and non-stop harvesting, the innovative Side Conveyor configuration is also available. This design provides extra efficiency during harvest.

FRONT TUNNEL

• The front tunnel enables progressive entry of the olive trees into the machine; it simultaneously helps to prepare the tree for harvesting and protects the super-intensive olive orchard canopy.

NIGHT WORK - RTS ROW TRACKING SYSTEM

• Night harvesting becomes easy for the operator with the Row Tracking System. You can specify RTS with New Holland GPS to automatically track the worked rows. Worked rows are displayed on the IntelliView™ III screen, enabling the operator to quickly identify the rows to be harvested. Double cab work lights and two additional LED lights to the front and rear of the picking head provide superior illumination in low light conditions. An additional LED light kit for intensive night operation is available.

• The Braud 9090X Olive Series is powered by ultra-efficient FPT Industrial 6-cylinder common rail electronic engines, with outputs of 175 horsepower (CV).

MODERN FUELS

• All engines in the Braud 9090X Series are engineered to run on 100% biodiesel (subject to conditions).

INTELLIGENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

• The intelligent management system (IMS) was awarded a silver medal at SITEVI 2009 — an international exhibition for vine-wine, fruit-vegetable and olive growing sectors. The system is able to control the engine load, providing the optimum rpm, and always looking for fuel savings. It also maintains all machine parameters at a constant level, by means of IntelliView™ III touchscreen: shaking speed, conveyor speed and fan speed.

OUTSTANDING FUEL ECONOMY

• The common rail electronic engines and IMS offer outstanding fuel economy with an average of 35% fuel savings.

HYDROSTATIC TRANSMISSION

• A hydrostatic transmission delivers enhanced traction and improved performance in demanding terrain. The anti-skid control system automatically manages drive to the wheels for optimum performance on slopes and in wet soil conditions.

AUTOMATIC HEIGHT AND LEVELING SYSTEM

• The system automatically controls the height and the leveling of the harvester. Once the operator sets the desired picking head height, it is maintained automatically. Sensors prevent the picking head from making contact with the ground in difficult terrain.

TIGHT TURN RADIUS

• With a 90° turn angle, Braud 9090X Olive harvesters have the tightest turn radius on the market. The standard Soft Shift system automatically monitors wheel speed and manages oil flow to the traction motors. Power is always diverted to the wheel with the best grip, boosting traction and safety in difficult conditions.

PRECISE CRUISE CONTROL

• Working in conjunction with the ground speed radar, the electronically controlled hydrostatic pump and IMS enable the operator to set and maintain a constant harvest speed. The system also accommodates changes in terrain.

CAB

MORE QUIET, COMFORTABLE AND SAFE.

• Step up into the superb Braud 9090X Olive cab and you will find it has been designed to fit you perfectly. The cab is fully suspended and sound-proofed for a smoother, more comfortable drive. Pressurized, heated and air-conditioned, the cabs are designed to offer optimum comfort and protection during harvest, spraying and other operations. Noise levels have been reduced by 3 dBA compared to previous harvesters when compared in like conditions. A seat belt, safety glass breaking hammer and electronic operator presence sensor are standard fittings. A fire extinguisher is also available.

INTELLIVIEW™ III. PLUG AND PLAY ISOBUS COMPATIBILITY

• The IntelliView III in-cab display has a touchscreen interface to make setting machine functions faster and simpler. You can customize pages to suit your specific operations. The system offers full ISOBUS control so you can use your IntelliView screen to operate a range of compatible equipment, including sprayers and multi-function implements. This eliminates the need for separate controls and reduces the time to switch between jobs.

ERGONOMIC EXCELLENCE

• The narrower steering column with three-way adjustment provides improved visibility and comfort. Plus the high-comfort seat provides excellent support and shock load protection.

INTEGRATED ARMREST CONTROLS

• The fully adjustable armrest supports the “all-in-one” multi-function lever that allows you to control travel speed and direction, leveling and the harvesting head.

REMOTE CAMERA READY

• The Braud 9090X is fitted with two cameras. A third camera may be added to enhance visibility and your view of machine functions. Images are displayed on a dedicated color monitor that fits to the top of the IntelliView™ screen.

SERVICING

FAST AND EASY MAINTENANCE

• To facilitate and reduce maintenance, all olive harvesting head grease points are grouped in one area. The rear flexible shaker rods ensure high picking performance, independent shaking action, and are maintenance-free. For better performance and reliability, the shaking transmission is oil-immersed. An automatic greasing system is also available (optional).

LARGE OPENING HOOD

• For easy access and maintenance, the large engine hood opens wide for servicing

SIMPLE PICKING HEAD IMPLEMENTS

• One person can remove the picking head, without special tools, in 10 minutes. All hydraulic and electrical connections are grouped together for easy access.

FAN REPOSITIONING FOR TRANSPORT

• Due to the design, the 9090X Olive harvester remains compact and easy to transport on a truck. Maximum width is less than 9.8 feet (3 m) with 18.9-inch (480 mm) tires, and minimum height is 13 feet (4 m) with the top fan folding system.

600-HOUR SERVICE INTERVAL

• The FPT Industrial common rail engine doesn’t need its first service until 600 hours. Less downtime. More productive working time.
